CP-TA addresses AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA interoperability
Nirlay Kundu —
Presenting the argument that a focus by TEMs on niche application areas, leaving the basic system building activities to xTCA building block providers, makes sense.
Delivering Ethernet-based backplane fabrics for AdvancedTCA-based Carrier Ethernet designs
Gary Lee —
The features available in advanced Ethernet switches such as QoS, congestion management, load distribution, and advanced header processing can help Carrier Ethernet become a standards-based methodology for transporting Ethernet packets between customer locations across the WAN.
Integrating complex building blocks to deliver highly available and reliable IPTV solutions
Sven Freudenfeld —
IPTV developers can focus on application differentiation by taking advantage of CP-TA tested building blocks.
Choices in AdvancedTCA storage technology
Paul Dinh —
Along with compactness, higher functionality and density, as well as reliability, nonvolatility, faster access speed, and lighter weight make AMC with Flash a significant new technology.
Making it all work
Joe Pavlat —
Interoperability requirements have been established. Now for the next steps.
AdvancedTCA: Why market predictions don’t always hit the mark
Hermann Strass —
Hermann surveys key global players affecting AdvancedTCA growth.
Simplification of VoIP deployment through effective software architecture
Curt Schwaderer —
Here is an example of how convergence of multiple services into one integrated product can result in multimedia business solutions that provide a robust set of services, yet minimize capital and operational expense.
White Paper: Reducing Integration Time Using CP-TA Tested Building Blocks
Ni Jinjiang, Todd Keaffaber, Nirlay Kundu, Zhu Zengxi —
B-STAR, in coordination with CP-TA, integrated an IPTV application using ATCA building blocks tested with CP-TA’s test tools. The goal was to quantitatively show a reduction in integration time using hardware components that were CP-TA tested. This paper documents B-STAR’s integration effort and serves as a process template exemplifying the use of CP-TA’s test tools and standardized test report.

PICMG —
Here's PICMG's primer on the show which took place June 16th through 19th at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
White Paper: Mapping Java EE to SAForum Specifications: A NEP Perspective
SCOPE Alliance —
NGN (Next Generation Networks) and Service layer applications have high requirements on rapid development and deployment of new services. To meet these requirements Java EE is used to a large extent, however in the telecom domain, carrier grade high availability and fault tolerance is a norm and it also needs to be valid for Java EE applications to a larger extent than today.
White Paper: Virtualization: Requirements
SCOPE Alliance —
This document presents virtualization requirements that have been identified by the SCOPE Alliance Virtualization Working Group as being necessary for the NEPs/TEMs networking/telecommunications systems. These virtualization requirements are associated with the use cases from which they were derived and have been aggregated into categories.
